The episode begins with the remaining players trying to process the losses from the marble game. **Seong Gi-hun** (Lee Jung-jae), **Kang Sae-byeok** (Jung Ho-yeon), and **Cho Sang-woo** (Park Hae-soo) are visibly shaken. **Only 17 players** remain now, and the atmosphere in the dorm is colder than ever.

Meanwhile, behind the scenes, we finally meet the mysterious **VIPs**—wealthy, masked elites who arrive to watch the games in person. They treat the entire event like a form of entertainment, placing bets and making crude jokes as if people’s lives are just part of a show. This moment reveals the disturbing truth: the Squid Game isn’t just about money for the players—it’s also a sick form of amusement for the rich.

The seventh game is perhaps the most terrifying yet: **The Glass Bridge.** Each player must cross a bridge made of glass panels—some are strong enough to hold a person, others will shatter under their weight. Players must go in a set order, and anyone who chooses the wrong panel falls to their death.

This challenge adds a new layer of fear. The first few players are basically walking into the unknown, while those at the back have more time to observe and strategize. Gi-hun ends up somewhere in the middle, while Sang-woo shows his ruthless side again by pushing a fellow player to their death to save himself. It’s a chilling moment that reminds us how far he’s willing to go.

We also see more of **Detective Jun-ho** (Wi Ha-joon), who’s still sneaking around the facility gathering evidence. He learns more about the VIPs and their role, but his cover may not last much longer.

“VIPS” pulls back the curtain on the bigger picture, showing that the Squid Game is not just a fight for money—it’s a twisted system where the rich exploit the desperate. The glass bridge game is nerve-wracking and symbolic: one wrong step, and it's all over.

With only a few players left, Episode 7 sets the stage for a dramatic endgame.
